• Reviews：Wonderful stay at this ryokan. The 400 year old ryokan is very well maintained! We booked the standard room and had access to all 6 gender separated onsens and 2 private onsens in the hotel (apparently some of their onsens have the same water sources as the public onsens in shibu). The jap dinner set was amazing! And I want to extend my thanks to the ryokan staff for letting us in the rooms early as we arrived before check in time

• Reviews：Actually I travel with my 2 elderly parents, we stay at this good modern ryokan, room is clean and spacious, has western bed , the onsen facility is good enough, they have outdoor onsen also but we cannot enjoy the view as they have partition. View from hotel lounge is very soothing, The most experience is you can enjoy a japanese style breakfast and dinner (with additional cost), we love it soooo much, very delicious and unique, the best food I think as I try 3 ryokan for this journey, all the staff is very attentive, my fave is Christine, she can speak english fluently and very helpful to elderly. The futon was a good night’s sleep and the room was in good condition

• Reviews： Once there, I had an amazing private Onsen with only the moon for company! Amazing! The Japanese breakfast was delicious, and the owners very friendly and helpful. • Reviews：Put the slippers that you take off at the entrance of the large communal bath in your own bag and go to the dressing room ② The ventilation and washing room in the bathroom is cold, but the bathtub is warm. it wasn’t specified at our time of booking and I didn’t request for non smoking, but i thought in general they would list the smoking rooms when you book – the staff told us its a business hotel so if you don’t specify its smoking. I like the hotel as its walking distance to the train station

• Reviews：Overall the hotel is OK, but I will not recommend this hotel to others.We and my friends (16people) have booked and live in this hotel from 19-25Jan.We didn’t notice that this hotel doesn’t have small rooms for single person. And when we arrived hotel, they told us there are some water maintenance stuffs on some of our rooms on 20-21Jan but they already reserved another hotel for us which is 10mins away from the hotel by car. However when arrived at the hotel and checked in, I was told that the dinner wasn’t included in the price and it’s additional ¥3240 each person

• Reviews：The hotel is clearly visible from the Nagano station and only took 3 mins to go there from the station.There is a lift on the bridge which really helps if you’re carrying a big luggage with you from Nagano station to the hotel. Very good location less than 5 minutes walking from JR Nagano station. Our stay at this hotel was lovely – but finding it was a nightmare
